Hi just wanted everyone to know. I have been using Ultium for over a year and I will not use anything else. My horses run better and are claimer they seem to be more focused. Just try it for 30 days you will see the difference.

Thanks

Bill Jones

My family and I had a horse that started getting up there in age. However, the hardest part was he was not your average horse. He had been used for all aspects of competition, for all of us. He had an endless winning record and none of us were ready to give up on him due to his arthritis. After just weeks on Adequan, he turned around and felt better than he had felt in years! No more stiffness or soreness. For him, it was a miracle drug! Now at the hearty age of 19 he is still going strong for the entire family.

Just wanted to share my story!

Thanks,

Kori Conley

Hello,  I began using Ultium on my daughters 4 year old horse after we had two bouts of gas colic.  The second bout of colic almost did him in.  We thought at first that he may have ulcers but found out that it was colic.  He has a poor body score, shaggy hair, no sparkle in his eyes and poor energy.  After 6 weeks on Ultium we could tell a HUGE difference in his attitude, hair conditioning and body conditioning.  He is now a shining (literally) example of this incredible product.  It may cost a bit more than other lower quality feeds but when you take in consideration of the huge vet bills that I paid and seeing him happy and healthy it is well worth the expense.

Thanks to Purina Mills for making such a superior product.  Hope to see you next year as Brandi and Jet will compete at their first State Show.

I wanted to tell you about my senior horse. I have a 32 year old gelding that was ( in my eyes) one of the greatest barrel horses ever. A lot of people know him as Silver Bullet, but for the 11years I have owned him, he has been Sam. Sam has a heart as big as his whole body and even with his arthritis would still try to make a smokin run for you if you asked him. He has literally taught both of my daughters how to barrel race, and he was as honest as they come. In October of 2008 we almost lost Sam. He had been retired for a year and was not doing well. I could not keep weight on him and he was skin on bones. I asked my vet if Sam was " sick ", because in that case I would have made the choice to possibly put him down.   The vet said he didn't think he was sick, but that he was starving. I was shocked and humiliated. Sam was eating about 12 lbs of 14% pellets a day, and he was starving! I immediately changed my feeding program, I did some research and put Sam on Purina Equine  Senior. Inside of six months Sam looked like his old self again. Sometimes I cant even look at him without getting teary eyed. He is eating almost half the amount he used to eat and is doing excellent.

My youngest still rides him around to keep his old joints moving and although we don't let him run barrels anymore, his eyes just light up when he sees that pattern. I have since switched all 7 of my other horses over to Strategy and the are doing great on that too.

Thanks So Much

We have been using Strategy for about 4 or 5 years now and it
has more than proved itself. We have found that we use less feed and
still obtain the same desired condition. Megan's mare has responded
well to the feed and has made a huge improvement since being put on the
program. We give her a combination of strategy and joint supplements
and has now moved up a complete division in the district. She feels
good, runs good, and looks good. We are have started feeding strategy
to our young gelding and the difference is obvious, he has a better
coat and is putting on the weight he had lost during his yearling
stage. I am a strong believer in Purina and have seen the difference it
makes.

I have been using Omolene 200 now for the past 2 years, I really like the feed. I have thought of changing over to the Omolene 500.  Thanks!

My horses do need a joint reliever and your email has come at a very convenient time, I didn't know what product to use...now I know. Thanks for the info.

As far as Omolene, I switched from old regular routine of horse feed about five years ago. Since the switch to Omolene my daughters and I have won two saddles, two buckles, halters, at the Kansas State Championships, two of us have qualified for the World Finals.

Not to go without mentioning the numerous jackpot money won throughout the years riding for Dist. Ks 11. Omolene has seemed to help in the weight and agility of our horses. The best advantage I have had is the different types of Omolene offered. A mix for my older horses, a mix for my performance/race horses, and still a mix for the youngsters coming up. Tell Omolene thanks from me and mine in Lees Summit Missouri.

 Respectfully,

Terry Owensby

Your email you has inspired us to do some checking in on Purina Mills.  We have check here at our local store and they carry it for the cattle but not horse and their representative has retired so they don't have any one to call on them anymore so we are looking at other towns.  We have two younger horses( 9 and 10) and a 28 year old who has been to the state finals several times in the past. He is still going strong and looking pretty good but we still worry about him in the winter.  Thanks for sending the email.

Strategy is a WONDERFUL product!! I recently bought a new horse who i was told was 8. He was very under fed, very unhealthy, very poor looking and if it wasn't for his personality and his love he gave to me when i tried him out i would of never thought twice about buying this horse because of the poor condition he was in at the time... as soon as i brought him home, i gave him nothing but love, starting him slowly on Strategy and within one week, he had perked up. I could tell he was feeling better. He has been on Strategy for a good month now, twice a day and his ribs are slowly startying to disappear, his coat is shinny, he is happier, and he is the first one make it to the barn for food.

His energy when i first bought him was low, so i wasnt sure if he would ever really make a fast barrel horse, but atleast he would make a great kids horse, but now i'm starting to think differently about that one...his energy leave is great, his personality is amazing and thanks to Strategy, He just might make a fast barrel horse after all!!

And its all the Strategy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I too use Adequan, have for over 3 years. Cheyenne’s mare just wasn’t able to engage her hind quarters as she should. Due to (what was latter determined as joint pain). She started on Adequan shortly there after and once she realized she would not get hurt every time she turned a barrel, we really started to see a difference even with gate issues. I did not waste any time once I got my new horse to get her started on it. If I could take it………BELIEVE ME I WOULD!

As far as Purina, I would not buy any other feed. Every animal I have is a Purina feed critter.
Sarah Leonhard has been instrumental in helping me figure the proper feed for all of my horses. I love the Purina family!
